Adult deluxe parade style costume includes oversized mask, shirt, hook, left forearm glove with attached gun, waist sash, and latex boots. You will need a pair of dark coloured trousers to complete the look.
The mask is remarkable. It is made from moulded latex and features an attached ragged edged scarlet bandanna, misshapen teeth (one of which has a plastic gem), an eye patch, one bloodshot eye, hair (two locks of which are braided with gold thread and a skull), and a beard. Vision is restricted through black mesh at the inner corner of each eye. There are also holes in the nostrils and the ears. There is foam padding on the inside at the top.
The jacket is a long shirt with fake gold buttons, padded shoulders, foam padded cuffs, and gold tasselled epaulettes. It is a very roomy garment. The front of the shirt is open in a V shape, although this will usually be covered by the beard of the mask.
The hook is a silver and brown moulded latex glove. The wrist of the glove has a raised border of silver skulls. The hook section is hollow and you may wish to pad it to make the hook more rigid.
The left arm is a moulded latex gauntlet with an oversized hand holding a huge pirate pistol. The forearm and hand have a mottled texture skin effect. We recommend that you use newspaper to pad out the pistol to help it retain its shape.
The waist sash is bright red with gold tassels and braiding at each end, and ragged edges. It is 80" (203cm) long and 10" (25cm) wide.
The latex boots look fantastic. They are 16" (40.6cm) tall and will fit feet up to 13" (33cm) long. We recommend that you pad any free space in the toe of boot with newspaper to help the boot keep its shape. The boots have been moulded and painted to look like old leather boots with buckles straps and a silver skull and crossed swords pattern. They secure behind the leg with Velcro.
